And like the average two-year-old, probably 75% of what Austin says is only understood by me and Zach. Here are some of the phrases we hear most--can you figure out what he's saying
- ice wah-wee, peas
- dup tuck, wok, duht
- doggie (yes, it can mean a dog, but has a second, completely unrelated meaning as well)
- Bom, Wenny
- ba-na-wa
- mok
- foffie (hint: these are often "peek" or "yeh-yee")
- dup high
- Au-tin fwing
- ca-ca
Austin also strung together his first four-word sentence this week: "Bah eat bock guhn." Loosely translated, "The sheep is eating the green (Duplo) block." (We were pretending it was grass.)
Nope, we're not worried about this boy's talking any more. :)

My guesses...
1. I'd like some water please.
2. dump truck, work, durt
5. banana
6. monkey, walk, or milk
8. up high
9. Austin wants to swing!
10. Cracker, Caw caw, or quack quack
Such an adorable stage!

Two-year old language is so fun and sweet. The four word sentence is amazing. It is so wonderful what goes on behind a baby's eyes. I would like to get the official answer sheet to Austin's phrases in some future blog entry.
I think you already gave the answers but I didn't read them. Some of these are familiar to me b/c I have a 2 year old also. :)
